Orson Keith Kirkpatrick

      NORTH ENGLISH-Orson Keith Kirkpatrick, 78, of North English, died Tuesday, April 20, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a lengthy illness.

      Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 22, at North English United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Mary McAtee officiating. Burial with military rites accorded will be in Wellman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, at Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North English. A memorial fund has been established for North English United Methodist Church.

      Mr. Kirkpatrick was born near North English, on Jan. 29, 1926, to Orson Flory and Esther May (Miller) Kirkpatrick. On Sept. 10, 1949, he married Marilyn Darlene Ruegsegger in Batavia.
