Orval J. Miller
Orval J. Miller, 87, of Wayland, died Wednesday, June 11, at Park Place Long Term Care Unit in Mt. Pleasant following a lengthy illness.
A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 14, at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church near Wayland, with the Rev. Robert Hartzler officiating. Burial was at Sugar Creek Cemetery.
Memorials have been established for Parkview Home and the church. Beatty Funeral home in Wayland is assisting with arrangements.
He was born Dec. 5, 1920 near Wayland, the son of Amasa and Katy Reschly Miller. He married Alberta M. Boese on July 11, 1943, in her parents' home near Wayland.
