Orville Lloyd Evans
KALONA - Orville Lloyd Evans, 85, of Kalona, died Monday, Feb. 5, 2001, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Kalona, with the Rev. John Dale Helmuth officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. A memorial fund has been established for the Kalona First Responders.
