Orville W. Allender, 84, a former bank officer and community leader in Mt. Pleasant died Friday, May 12, 2000, of an apparent heart attack at his home in Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Weir Funeral Home for the arrival of his children from the east coast.
