Oscar W. Pender

      Oscar W. Pender, 75, formerly of Bonaparte, died at 8 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at Wapello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wapello.

      A funeral is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Richard Eis officiating. Burial will be in Bonaparte Cemetery.

      Open visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Family visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

      Memorials to Bonaparte Cemetery may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at PO Box 241, Wapello 52653.

      Mr. Pender was born Sept. 16, 1931, in Bonaparte, the son of Harley A. and Blanche Wilson Pender.
