KALONA ? Myrna Furman, 91, of Washington, died Thursday, May 7, 2009, in United Presbyterian Home in Washington, due to aging.    Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, at the Beauchamp Cemetery in rural Crawfordsville, with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating.  Burial will be in Beauchamp Cemetery.  There will be no visitation.  Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona is handling the arrangements.   

Sue Ann Golden, 66, of Washington, died Saturday, May 9, 2009, at the Washington Care Center in Washington, following a lengthy illness.    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with Dave Stoufer officiating.  A private burial service will be held at a later time with the family.  Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday at the funeral home where the family

LONE TREE ? Dorothy Vivian Kirkpatrick, 83, of Lone Tree, died Thursday, May 7, 2009, in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, after a long battle with congestive heart failure.    Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Lone Tree with the Rev. BRIGHTON    Roberta Ledger, 70, of Brighton, died Monday, May 11, 2009, at her home, following a brief illness.    A Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 15, at Ss. Joseph and Cabrini Church in East Pleasant Plain with the Rev. Charles J. Fladung and the Rev. Schrock, 88, of Maquoketa, formerly of Wayland, died Wednesday, May 6, 2009, in the Crestridge Nursing Home in Maquoketa.    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 11, at the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church in rural Wayland with the Rev. Nathan Luitjens and the Rev. Bob Hartzler officiating.  Burial will be in the Sugar Creek Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m.

BRIGHTON ?
