BRIGHTON ? Lester R. Ledger, 82, of Brighton, died Monday, April 13, 2009, in the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield, following failing health.    Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 17, at Ss. Joseph and Cabrini Church in East Pleasant Plain with the Rev. Charles J. Fladung and the Rev. Robert Streigel officiating.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 5 p.m.

BRIGHTON   Donna Rae Streitmatter, 70, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, April 8, 2009, in University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a brief illness.    Funeral services will be held at a later date.  The body has been cremated.  Gould Funeral Home in Brighton is in charge of the arrangements.    Mrs. Streitmatter was born July 28, 1938, in Joliet, Ill., the daughter of John L. and Lena (Shraider)

Eugene Grecian, 85, of Washington, died Thursday, April 9, 2009, in Washington County Hospital in Washington following a short illness.    Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Gary Eugene Crossett, 73, of Washington, died Wednesday, April 8, 2009, in the Washington County Hospital in Washington, following a sudden illness.    Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 13, at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Linda Foor officiating.  The body will be cremated following the funeral.  Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 14.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m.
