Thomas, 84, of Fairfield, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.      A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield, with the Rev. Dave Elmore officiating. Steven John Svoboda, 57, of Washington, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008 in his sister's residence in Cedar Rapids following a two-year battle with cancer.      Private family services will be held at a later date.
