Mary I. (Mrs. Charles) Thompson, 95, formerly of DeWitt, died Friday morning, Sept. 26, 2008, at Assisted Lifestyles in Olathe, Kan.Mrs. Thompson was born Mary Ida Seager, Oct. 19, 1912 in Keokuk, to Adon and Francis Bennett Seager. She was educated at Iowa Wesleyan College. On Aug. 16, 1942, Mary was united in marriage to Charles Thompson in Mt. Pleasant. The couple owned and operated the Western Auto Store in
