Stanley Ward Singer, 90, of Washington, Iowa, died Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at Washington County Hospital in Washington, following an extended illness. A celebration of life service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer and the Rev. Bob Wollenberg officiating. Interment will be in Friends Cemetery in Richland. Visitation will begin at noon Thursday

Elden Donner Gallup, 72, of Fairfield, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, at the Iowa State Veterans Hospital in Knoxville. A memorial graveside service, with military rites, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield, with the Rev. Dave Peterson officiating. The body has been cremated. Marshall F. Thayer, 66, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Saturday, May 17, in Iowa City, after a brief battle following a kidney failure.Marshall was born Jan. 27, 1942, in Tuscumbia, Mo., to F.
