Doris Eleanor Cary, 77, formerly of Packwood, died Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.      A funeral is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with her son, the Rev. Wayne D. Tompkins, 87, of Des Moines, died Wednesday, June 13, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield. A graveside service will follow at the Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery, with the Rev. Nancy Bender officiating. COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Mary Ellen Sistrunk, 84, of Columbus Junction died Tuesday, June 12, 2007 in the Colonial Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Care in Columbus Junction.      In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Sistrunk's body was cremated.      Mrs. Sistrunk was born Jan. 9, 1923 in Ainsworth, the daughter of Howard and Ella (Laird) Crawford. She married Ray Sistrunk on April 6, 1947 in Mobile, Ala.

Louise E. Sopher, 79, of Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, June 13, at the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.According to her wishes her body has been cremated and graveside services will be held at a later date. Beatty-Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant is handling the arrangements.
