Mary Rebecca Gerig, 88, of Albany, Ore., died Saturday, Aug. 4, of natural causes.Mary was born in Wayland, to Martin C. and Emma (Nofziger) Gerig. She grew up there, then spent most of her working life in Sarasota, Fla. She moved to Albany, Ore. in the 1980s to be near family.
