KALONA - Katie Nisly Hochstetler, 94, of Kalona died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007 in Pleasantview Home in Kalona after a lingering illness.      Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27 in Sharon Bethel Church in Kalona with the Rev. Jacob Yoder and the Rev. Delmar Bontrager officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona and from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday in the church.

Irvin Dale "Speck" Knedler, 87, of Topsham, Maine, died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007, at home.      A memorial service was held Jan. 18 in Augusta, Maine.      Memorials may be made to Chans Home Health Care and Hospice, 60 Baribeau Drive, Brunswick, ME 04011.      Mr. Knedler was born Sept. 26, 1919, in Mount Pleasant, the son of Estal Decora and Mary A. WELLMAN - Faye C. Kos, 60, of Wellman died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007 in an auto accident on Highway 92 near Sigourney.      Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21 in Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church in Kalona with the Rev. Helen Jacobsen, 93, of Oceanside, Calif.,died Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, at Tri City Hospital Oceanside.She was born in 1913 in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Adolph and Gertrude Schmidt. She was married to John Jacobsen for more than 65 years.
