Curtis Ray "Curt" Jensen, age 48, of Washington, Iowa died Wednesday January 10, 2007 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a sudden illness. Funeral services will be held 1:30 pm Saturday, January 13th at the Washington High School Gymnasium with Pastor Harald Gruber officiating. Marc D. "Mouse" Cunningham, 30, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield from injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident on Glasgow Road. Fairfield residents injured in accident
Three Fairfield residents, Richard L. Blakeney, Sholn Marie and Khyle Kelly, were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Highway 218 and G-36 intersection in Washington County. According to an Iowa State Patrol minimal report, a 1999 International truck owned by Maher Brothers Transfer of Iowa City and driven by 44-year-old Jon F.
