Vern Harry Trueblood, 82, of Rutledge, Tenn., died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Jefferson City, Tenn. A graveside service with military rites will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Grainger County Memorial Gardens in Rutledge. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Smith's Funeral Home in Rutledge, where a service will follow. Memorials may be made to Birmingham Lions Club

Clarence A. Hostetler, 98, Kalona, Iowa, died early morning, December 21, 2006, at Pleasantview Home, Kalona, Iowa.He was born January 10, 1908, in Topeka, Indiana, to Almon and Ida (Troyer) Hostetler. He married Mary Kate Eash on August 20, 1933 in Iowa. She died April 23, 1983. He married Edna Hershberger Gascho on November 3, 1984. She died August 29, 2006.
