Karl Hinkle, 90, of Eugene, Ore., died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, at Hospice Home in Eugene.      Mr. Hinkle was born and raised in the Washington, Iowa, area.      Mr. Hinkle graduated from Washington High School and received a master's degree in journalism from the University of Iowa.
