Esther Carter, 80, of Springfield, Ill., died on Monday, Jan. 29, at the St. John's Hospital in Springfield.Funeral services are pending at the Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Donnellson.

Billy B. Otto, 84, died on Friday, Jan. 26, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.The funeral mass was on Tuesday, Jan. 30, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Liberty, with the Rev. Dennis Martin officiating. Graveside services with military honors were at the Port Louisa Cemetery in rural Wapello. A Christian Wake service was held Monday. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.

SIGOURNEY - Mary C. Prall, 96, of Wellman, formerly of Sigourney, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2007 in Parkview Manor in Wellman following a brief illness.      Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Reynolds-Powell Funeral Chapel in Sigourney with the Rev. Richard Pippert officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sigourney. Visitation was Monday morning. Memorials may be made to the Wellman Library

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Celia Sheetz, 79, of Grand Junction died Monday, Jan. 22, 2007 after a lengthy illness.      Funeral services and burial were held Jan. 26 in Grand Junction.      She was born Oct. 15, 1927 in Pinckneyville, Ill. She married Ray Sheetz on Aug. 13, 1949.

RICHLAND - Timothy Chris Pfeifer, 42, of Richland, formerly of Washington, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2007 in Washington County Hospital following a lengthy illness.      Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. today in the First Christian Church in Washington with the Rev.
