Furnas, 84, of Letts died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006 in Unity Hospital in Muscatine.      Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30 in Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction with the Rev. WELLMAN - Lynn Kay Foster, 51, of Wellman died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006 of brain cancer in Parkview Manor, Wellman.      Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30, in Peterseim Funeral Home, Kalona with the Rev. Rich Pippert officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 6 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in the Keota Cemetery.

Melvin F. Schneider, 84, of Washington died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006 in the Washington County Hospital following a sudden illness.      Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30 in the St. James Catholic Church in Washington with the Rev. Dorothy Elizabeth Bauer, 99, of Washington died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006 in Halcyon House in Washington following a decline in health for the past few months.      Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31 in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Julia Poulsen officiating. Interment will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon Monday in the funeral home

Gabriel Seth Beachy was stillborn Oct. 25, 2006 in the Washington County Hospital in Washington.      Funeral services were Friday, Oct. 27 in the Haven Conservative Mennonite Church near Kalona with Nelson Beachy officiating. Geneva Payne, 95, of Mt. Pleasant, and formerly of Salem, died on Thursdays, Oct. 26, at Sunnybrook in Mt. Pleasant.      Services have been set for 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 30, at the Salem Congregational Church in Salem with the Rev. Harold Dorsey officiating. Margaret F. Link, 83, of Mt. Pleasant, died on Thursday, Oct. 19, at the home of her daughter, Glenna Smith, in Madison, Mo.Services were held on Monday, Oct. 23 at the Banks and Beals Funeral Home in Stronghurst, Ill. Burial was in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, near Media.
