Everett R. Young, 83, of Mt. Pleasant, died on Friday, Oct. 20, at his home.Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Edward R. Peterson officiating. Burial was in the Forest Home Cemetery with full military rites. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the Great River Hospice and the First United Methodist Church.

Betty Wells age 62 of 532 Bryan Road, Ottumwa died Wednesday at the University Hospitals in Iowa City, after a courageous battle with leukemia.      Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M.
