IOWA CITY - Hilda O. Johnson, 81, of Iowa City, formerly of Sigourney, died Saturday, July 29, 2006 in the Windmill Manor in Coralville following an extended illness.      Following her wishes, the body has been cremated and her cremains will be scattered in Germany at a later date. There will be no funeral service or visitation. The Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is handling the arrangements.

WASHINGTON - Donald Eric Petersen, 76, of Washington died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2006 following injuries suffered in an automobile accident north of Alexandria, Minn.      Services will be held at a later date in Washington. The Jones-Eden Funeral Home of Washington is handling the arrangements.

JOHN'S ISLAND, S.C. - Shirley Rhoda Bramhall, 71, of John's Island, formerly of Kalona, died July 6, 2006 in her home.      A memorial service was held at James Island Christian Church in Charleston, S.C. Arrangements were made through Palmetto Cremation Society, Charleston.

Lyle Schrobilgen, 84, of Fairfield, died Friday, July 28, 2006.      A memorial mass service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield.
