Fink 87, of Packwood died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006 at Jefferson County Hospital.      Funeral services were held today at 1p . m.. at the Packwood Christian Church with Pastor Harlan Van Voorst officiating. KALONA - Foster Johnson, 71, of Kalona, died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006, at home following a lengthy illness.      Graveside services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, in Port William Cemetery in Port William, Ind., with the Rev. Ron Breese officiating. Military rites will be accorded. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

James E. Manning 66 of Mt. Pleasant died on Tuesday evening February 21, 2006, at the University of Iowa Hospital.      A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Mt. Robert "Bob" Harley Meeker, 79, of Columbus Junction, died of pulmonary disease Friday, Feb 17, 2006, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.      The memorial service was held today at 10:30 at Columbus Junction United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Angela Catherine "Kay" Adix, 91, of Boone, died Feb. 17, 2006, at the Boone County Hospital.      Funeral Services will be held in Boone Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 11 a.m., at the Church of the Sacred Heart with Father Steve Brodersen in charge. Leo C. Schmitz, died Jan. 31, 2006, at Mercy Living Plus facility in Oel      Mr. Schmitz was born Jan. 20, 1920 in Festina, Iowa to Bernard and Elizabeth (Lechtenberg) Schmitz. On Nov. 12, 1941 he was married to Dorothy Huber. She preceded him in death in 1992.      Mr. Schmitz married Vonna Taylor on August 5, 1995, in West Union. Leo was retired from farming and was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church.

Minnie Peterson, 88, of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of Wayland, died Monday, Feb. 20, 2006, at the Park Place Long Term Care Unit in Mt.
