WELLMAN - Ellavene Longwell was born November 23, 1913 in Keswick, Iowa the daughter of John and Susie (Healey) O'Brien. She graduated from Keswick High School in 1932. On November 10, 1936 she was united in marriage to A.G. "Ham" Longwell at St. Joseph Catholic Church in North English. Ellavene has lived on the same farm since 1936 where she was a homemaker.
