Allen D. Bailey, 85, of rural Floris died at 12:13 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2006, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua. A committal service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Heidlebaugh Cemetery in rural Floris, with military rites by Reed- Whisler Post 78 of Bloomfield. The body has been cremated. Vivian Retha Outland
Vivian Retha Outland, 72, of Carlisle died from cancer at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at Taylor Hospice House in Des Moines. The body will be cremated and buried at a later date. Mrs. Outland was born Aug. 4, 1933 in Fairfield, the daughter of Ralph J. and Retha Kessel. She married Michael Joynd. They later divorced. She married Lloyd Outland. Edna M. Boggs, 90, formerly of Libertyville, died March 5, 2006, in Kirkland, Wash. A memorial service was held Saturday at Mount Scott Funeral Home in Portland, Ore.
