KALONA - Marguerite "Mickey" Hohenshell, 77, of Wellman, died Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, at Parkview Manor in Wellman, following a brief illness. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Joetown at a later date. Mrs. Hohenshell was born May 16, 1928, to Wesley and Carrie (Rowe) Butterbaugh in Wellman. She married Donald Hohenshell in October 1948 in Washington County.

SURPRISE, Ariz. - Lawrence C. Harland, 86, of Surprise, Ariz., formerly of Washington, died Dec. 3, 2005. Graveside services were held Dec. 7 in West Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale, Ariz. Mr. Harland was born Jan. 10, 1919, in Mt. Vernon, Ill., to Alvie and Effie Mae Harland. He married Myrtle Wenger in 1945.
