Jerry Jennings, 65, of Iowa City, died in his home of cancer Tuesday afternoon, January 10, 2006. Funeral arrangements are pending. Mr. Jennings is survived by four daughters, Debbie, Barb, Sue and Julie, all of Iowa City; Bonnie of Lone Tree; and a son, Brian of Iowa City. Mr. Jennings was married to the former Virginia Rose, who died Nov 1, 2004.

Kevin O'Brian, 36, of Angoon, Alaska, was lost at sea due to a boating accident on January 1, 2006. Kevin was born April 5, 1969, in California, to Patrick and Glennys Fountain O'Brian. He married Kim James of Angoon, Alaska. He worked for the city of Angoon. He was the former boys head basketball coach for the Angoon Eagles and won the state championship in 2000.
