Mildred H. Bell, 85, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005, at a hospice in Burleson, Texas.      A funeral was held Oct. 22 and burial was in Laurel Land Memorial park.      Mrs. Bell was born Dec. 25, 1919, in Van Buren County, the daughter of Homer and Bertha Ware Lydolph. Vera Blough, 91, passed away Monday, January 9, 2006, at the Round Rock Medical Center in Round Rock, Texas. Vera was born July 25, 1914 in Des Moines to Clyde and Ada Mullen.      Vera was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. She was married to William Rice, Sr. who passed away on March 10, 1952. She later was married to Richard Blough who passed away November 10, 1980.Funeral services will be held

Myra Lucile Crawford, 91, of Kalona, formerly of Washington, died Saturday Jan. 7, 2006, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona, following complications from Alzheimer's.      Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 10, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. KALONA - Mabel I. Speas, 87, of Kalona, died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2006, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.      Celebration of Life services will begin at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 11, at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, with the Rev. Wendell M. Van Syoc, 87, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, from multiple injuries sustained in an automobile accident Dec. 23.      Services were Saturday, Dec 31, at First United Methodist Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery in Cedar Falls. A memorial has been established in his name at the church.      Mr. Van Syoc was born Feb. 21, 1918, in rural Winfield, son of Perl R. and Ada Mason Van Syoc.

COLONA, Ill. - Wilma L. Hoyle, 94, of Galesburg, Ill., formerly of Colona, Ill., died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006, at Rosewood Care Center in Galesburg, Ill.      Funeral services were held today in Colona, Ill. Marilyn S. Groseclose Wixom, 59, of rural Bonaparte, died at 9:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 6, 2006, at her home.      Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 12, at the Greenglade Cemetery. Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home of Farmington is in charge of arrangements.
