KALONA - Jean E. Patterson, 83, of Kalona, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona, following a lengthy illness.      Celebration of Life services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept 26, at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, with the Rev. David L. Yoder officiating. Burial will be in Piersol Cemetery in North English. Visitation will be from 9:30 to the time of services, Monday morning.     

RICHLAND - Velda M. Seaton, 99, formerly of Richland, died Thursday Sept. 22, 2005, at Washington County Hospital in Washington.      Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, at Gould Funeral Home in Richland, with the Rev. Tim Detweiler and the Rev. Grant Nebel officiating. Burial will be in Richland Friends Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

KALONA-Lucille M. Kempf, 85, of Kalona, died Monday, Sept. 19, 2005, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona, following a lengthy illness.      Celebration of Life services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22, at Wellman Mennonite Church, with the Rev. Marvin Hostetler officiating. Burial will be in Wellman Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona.

KALONA - Edna Logan, 92, of Kalona, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.      Celebration of Life services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at East Union Mennonite Church in rural Kalona, with the Rev Jay Miiller, the Rev. James A. Cisco, age 62 of Mt. Alberta Nelson, 85, of New London Nursing and Rehab Center, died at 3:50 a.m. Monday, Sept. 19, 2005, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.      The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Wenona, Ill., with Pastor Greg Swenson officiating.
