Gary Leu, 58, of Albuquerque, N.M., died Saturday, April 23, 2005.      Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, at Risen Savior Catholic Community in Albuquerque. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.      A prayer vigil will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday at French Mortuary in Albuquerque.      Leu retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1989 after serving 23 years and attaining the rank of major.

Dean Lewis Howard, 74, of Donnellson, died following a brief illness Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at Henry County Health Center in Mt. Herschel Mendenhall, 89,of Wayland, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at Parkview Home in Wayland.      The memorial service was at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 24 at Pleasant Plain Friends Church, with the Revs. Stan Bauer and Karen Mendenhall officiating. "Bob" Merschman, 80, of St. Paul, died of cancer, Friday, April 22, 2005, at 11:40 a.m. at West Point Care Center.      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 26 at St. James Catholic Church in St. Paul, with the Revs. Gary Beckman and Apo Mpanda officiating.
