WELLMAN - Oral "Shorty" Ulin, 89, of Wellman, died on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, at Parkview Manor, following a brief illness.      Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 29, at Powell Funeral Home in Wellman, with the Rev. Donnita Hostetler officiating. Burial will be in Wellman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. A general memorial has been established.   

KEOTA - Michael J. "Mike" Anders, 65, of Keota, died Monday, July 25, 2005, at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.      Graveside services will be at a later date in Keota Cemetery. A general memorial has been established.      Mr. Anders was born on July 11, 1940, near Keota, to Glenn and Madge (Marsan) Anders. He married Nancy E. (Williams) Craig in What Cheer on May 17, 1976.

Maynard G. Widmer, 88, of Wayland, died Thursday, July 21, 2005, near Fern Cliff Park.      A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 28, at Bethel Mennonite Church, with the Rev. Mary L. Fox, 76, of Washington, died Friday, July 22, 2005, at Washington County Hospital.      Memorial services were held Sunday. Beatty Funeral Home in Washington is assisting with arrangements. A general memorial has been established.      Mrs. Fox was born Nov. 30, 1928, near Mystic to Delbert Glen and Ruth (Robertson) McNair. She married Jack B. Fox on June 30, 1947. They later divorced.

LONE TREE - Judi Pritchett, 58, of Iowa City died Wednesday, July 20, 2005, in Kenosha, Wis., following a brief illness.      Funeral services were held today. Burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, in Lone Tree Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the education fund of Mrs. Pritchett's grandchildren.      Mrs. Pritchett was born on May 27, 1947, in Iowa City to Henry and Amanda (Seering) Riggan.
