Joseph L. Church, 76, of Nichols, died Friday, March 4, 2005, at Lone Tree Care Center. Funeral services were held today, at Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Lone Tree. Burial was in Nichols Cemetery. A general memorial has been established. Mr. Church was born March 11, 1928, in Columbus Junction, to Joseph F. and Nellie (Alstot) Church. In February 1950, he married Jessie Mullens in Columbus Junction.
