MILO - Virginia A. Towne, 82, of Iowa City, formerly of Washington, died Saturday, March 26, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.      Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at the Methodist church in Milo, with the Rev. Jodi Rushing officiating. Interment will follow in IOOF Cemetery in Milo. Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington is handling arrangements.  

MT. VERNON - Willard "Bill" Palmer, 82, of Mt. Vernon, died Friday, March 25, 2005, at home.      Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Vernon, with the Rev. Wilma L. McMillin, 83, of Chugwater, Wyo., died Feb. 28, 2005, in Cheyenne, Wyo.      The funeral service was March 5 at Chugwater Methodist Church, with the Rev. Skip Perry officiating.
