Clinton S. "Trim" Spurgeon, 82, of Burlington, died at 1:15 a.m. Sunday, March 27, 2005, at New London Nursing and Rehab Center.      The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 30 at Lunning Chapel in Burlington, with the Rev. SALEM, Ore. - Evelyn Marie Lacey, 77, of Salem, Ore., died March 6, 2005.      Funeral services were held March 11, 2005, at Restlawn Funeral Home in Salem, Ore.      Mrs. Lacey was born March 11, 1927, to Wade and Garnet Sinn in Wayland. She married her first husgand, Gene, in Oregon during World War II. He preceded her in death in 1966. She married Jim Lacey in 1969.

Denzel Tschantz Stutzman, 65, died March 5, 2005, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, Fla.      The funeral service was at Yates Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Pierce, March 11, with the Rev. Craig Bridgers officiating. The ashes will be scattered in rural Lockridge at a later date. A memorial has been established to Crossings Community Church Building Fund, 8515 Indrio Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34951.     

Mary "Kay" Catherine Greene, 80, of Iowa City, formerly of Washington, died Thursday, March 24, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a brief illness.      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at St. James Catholic Church in Washington, with the Rev. Joseph Ora Phillips, Sr., 55, of New London, died Saturday, March 19, 2005, at Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.      A graveside service will be in Trinity Cemetery in Mt. Union later this spring. There will be no visitation. The body has been cremated. A memorial has been established. WAYNESVILLE, Mo.-Thompson "Tom" Easton Caldwell, 66, of Waynesville, Mo., died March 8, 2005, at General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital in Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo.      Funeral services were held on March 12, at Waynesville Memorial Chapel in Waynesville, Mo.      Mr. Caldwell was born on Dec. 12, 1938, in Washington, to Howard and Gladys (Scranton) Caldwell. Francis Bernice Hadley, 96, of, Fairfield died Monday March 21, 2005 at the Jefferson County Hospital Care Center.      Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 24 at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.
