Laura Robbie Gibbs, 39, of Omaha, Neb., formerly of Burlington, died after a nine-month battle with lung cancer at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2005, at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Visitation was from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Lunning Chapel, where the family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral for Ms. Gibbs was today at 1 p.m. at Lunning chapel, with Pastor Maurice Moore officiating.

PRINCETON, Texas-Louise Marie King, 77, of Plano, Texas, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, following a brief illness. The body has been cremated, and burial will be at a later date in Des Moines. Mrs. King was born on July 22, 1927, in Wayland, to Frank and Alma Elizabeth (Rapp) Nebel. On Sept. 15, 1949, she married Rolland Robert King in Des Moines.
