E. Jane (Mrs. Virgil) Sammons, 71, of Mt. Pleasant died at 8:08 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005, in the Great River Hospice Room of the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Mt. Viola E. Nichols, 84, formerly of Richland, died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005, at Park Place Long Term Care Center in Mt.
