Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Lathrop, 80, of Mt. Pleasant, died at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, at the New London Care Center.      The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28 at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with Guy Sammons officiating. Violet Lundquist, 92, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Swedesburg, died Feb. 15, 2004 after a long illness.      The body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at the Swedesburg Lutheran Church later in the spring for Mrs. Lundquist and her husband, Vernon, who preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 1990.
