Cheryl Lynn Osborne
CHICAGO, Ill. - Cheryl Lynn Osborne, 55, formerly of Wayland, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003, at Kindred Hospital in Chicago, Ill. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, in the Community Room of Wayland City Hall. Instead of flowers, the family asks that friends bring a small token of remembrance to be used in a memory collage display.

Larry L. Hawkins, 52, of rural Keokuk, died on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2003, at his home. The graveside service was at 10:30 a.m. today in Sunset Memorial Park in Keokuk, with the Rev. Bill Mitchell officiating. A memorial has been established to Mithleman Meadows.Survivors include his father of Keokuk, and a brother, Frank Hawkins of New London. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Russell H. Dean, 88, of Falls Church, Va., died on Monday, Dec. 22, 2003, at his home. The body has been cremated. Mr. Dean, born on Sept. 14, 1915, southeast of Kingston, the son of Willard and Nellie Hohmbraker Dean. He completed eight grades at the Kingston School and was a 1934 graduate of Mt.
