Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 9, at Holy Trinity Parish-St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota, with the Rev. Marty Goetz officiating. Junior Ford Pidgeon, age 78, of Coralville died Saturday, May 31, 2003 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. Mr. Pidgeon was born on April 30, 1925, in Grangeville, Idaho, the son of Charles and Uvena (Arnold) Pidgeon. Beulah Goldsmith, 86, of Salem, died Monday. June 2, 2003 at her home. Mrs. Goldsmith was born January 19, 1917 near Salem, the daughter of Hanmer and Sylvia Litton Bailey. She was united in marriage to Edward Watson who preceded her in death in 1950. She married Oliver Goldsmith on January 6, 1951. She was a member of the Salem Congregational Church and was a Sunday school teacher for many years.
