BROWNSBURG, Ind.-John R. Lehmann, 72, of Brownsburg, Ind., died May 27, 2003.      Services were held on Friday, May 30, at Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg, Ind. Burial was in Brownsburg Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the mission fund at Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Indianapolis, Ind.

Richard "Dick" Neil Mapel, 61, of Danville, died at 1:27 p.m. on May 26, 2003, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.      The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 30 in Lunning Chapel in Burlington, officiated by the Revs. Jack Wolgamuth and Richard Latta. Burial will be in Jaggar Cemetery in Danville. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 29 at the chapel, with rites at 6 p.m.

KALONA-Susan J. Bender, 94, of Kalona, died Saturday, May 24, 2003, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a lengthy illness.      Funeral services were held this morning at the Paul Beachy home in Kalona, with Vernon Yoder officiating. Burial was in East Union Cemetery in rural Kalona.

Taryn Elizabeth Philips, 15, of rural Keosauqua died in a deer-caused one-vehicle accident on Osage Ave., near her home southeast of Keosauqua at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2003.      The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 26, 2003, in Van Buren Community School gymnasium, with the Rev.
