DAVENPORT-Pamela Sue Knaack, 52, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Washington, died Monday, May 19, 2003, at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.      Funeral services will be Thursday, May 22, at 11:30 a.m. at Runge Mortuary Chapel in Davenport. Burial will be in Walcott Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services, at the mortuary. A general memorial has been established.

Phyllis Belle Reif, 93, of Washington, died Monday, May 19, 2003, at United Presbyterian Home, following a lengthy illness.      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 22, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Jim Beranek officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home, with family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

WELLMAN-Cedric E. Ulin, 82, of Wellman, died Wednesday, May 21, 2003, in Iowa City, following a lengthy illness.      Graveside memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 23, at Wellman Cemetery, with the Rev. Mike Orthel officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, at Powell Funeral Home in Wellman. Memorials may be directed to the Wellman Fire Department and the Wellman Ambulance.

George Wilbur Ralph Riemann, 96, of Mediapolis, died Friday, May 16, 2003, at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.      The funeral service was at 10 a.m. this morning at the Hagele and Honts Funeral Home in Mediapolis, with the Rev. John Gaulke officiating. Burial was in the Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington. A memorial has been established to the Mediapolis Community Ambulance Service.

KALONA-Irene F. Carol Ann Arpy, 46, of Long Grove, died on Friday, May 16, 2003, at Genesis West Medical Center, Davenport, after a brief battle with cancer.      The funeral service and Mass of Christian Burial will be at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Long Grove, with the Rev.
