Pleasant, died on Saturday, April 19, 2003, at the Henry County Health Center.      The memorial service will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23 at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel of Mt. KEOTA-Richard Forrest Lyle, 84, of Keota, died Friday, April 18, 2003, at his home near Keota, following a lengthy illness.      Funeral services were held this morning at United Church of Faith in Keota, with the Rev. Melinda Chambers officiating. Burial was at Keota Cemetery with military rites accorded by Keota V.F.W. Post No. 4716. A general memorial fund has been established.

WELLMAN-Lula M. Redlinger, 98, of Wellman, died Friday, April 18, 2003, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a brief illness.      Funeral services were held this morning at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wellman, with the Rev. Rich Adam officiating. Burial was in St. Mary Cemetery in Keota. Memorials may be directed to Wellman Ambulance or St. Joseph CatholicChurch.

Edna Fyrne Sanders, 90, of Rock Island, Ill., died on Thursday, April 17, 2003, at St. Anthony's Continuing Care Center in Rock Island.      The funeral service will be today at 11 a.m. at Trimble Funeral Home in Moline, Ill., with the Rev. Dr. Robert Miller, of the First Congregational Church in Moline, officiating. Private burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.

Thomas D. Hawbaker, 71, of Hillsboro, died of a stroke at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, April 18, 2003, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22 at the Christian Church in Hillsboro, with the Revs. Mark Caston and David Doer officiating. Burial will be in the Hillsboro Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will begin today at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt.

Norma Deweerdt, 70, of Lathrop, Mo., died on Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at Cameron Regional Hospital.      The funeral service was today at First Christian Church in Lathrop. Burial was in Cameron Memory Gardens in Cameron, Mo.

Beverly Jean Shull, 62, of Mt. Pleasant, died at 4:35 A.M. on Sunday, April 20, 2003, at the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.      The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, with pastor Jeffrey L. Crawford officiating.
