LONE TREE-Arthur Eugene Hill, 82, of Lone Tree, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2003, at VA Medical Center in Iowa City following a brief illness.      Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m on Tuesday, Aug. 19, at Lone Tree Cemetery, with Loren Yoder officiating. The Lone Tree American Legion Post 457 will accord military rites. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the American Lung Association.

Bonnie Jane Hayward, 89, of Des Moines, died on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2003, at Iowa Jewish Senior Life Center in Des Moines.      The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23 at Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines. KALONA-Sarah Nicole Temple Nessler, 19, of Coralville, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2003, at Washington County Hospital in Washington, following an auto accident.      Funeral services were held this morning at Sharon Center United Methodist Church with the Rev. Doug Cue officiating. Burial was in Sharon Center Cemetery in rural Kalona. A memorial trust fund has been established for Miss Nessler's daughter, Kaia Spradling.

KALONA-Henry A. Kauffman, 88, of Dresden, Kan., formerly of Kalona, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003, at his home, following a brief illness.      Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16, at 2 p.m., at Kalona Mennonite Church in Kalona, with the Rev. Rodney Goldizen, 44, of Washington, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003, at his home.      Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, at Beatty Funeral Home in Washington. Burial will be in Cedar Township Cemetery in Fremont. A general memorial has been established.

Lucy Margot "Margaret" Wood, 66, of New London, died on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003, at Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.      The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16 at the Elliott Chapel in New London, with the Rev. Rod Cooper officiating. The body will be cremated following the service. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday. A memorial has been established.

Faber, 92, of London, Ohio, formerly of Des Moines, died on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2003, at the Madison House Assisted Care Facility in London.      The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16 at Dunn's Funeral Home in Des Moines, with the Rev. Timothy Diebel officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home two hours prior to the service. Entombment will follow the funeral service at 2:30 p.m.

CYPRESS, Calif.-Marian P. Lane, 70, of Buena Park, Calif., died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, in California.      Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 19, in Cypress, Calif. Helen E. Key Weeden, 70, of Knoxville, Tenn., died on June 27, 2003, after a long fight with cancer.      A public memorial service and scattering of ashes will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 14 at the Dewey Pickard Farm at 287th Street and Hidden Valley Intersection in Knoxville.
