WAYLAND-Milburn Gerig, 87, of Wayland, died Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a brief illness. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, April 5 at 10:30 a.m. at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church. The body has been deeded to the University of Iowa School of Medicine. The graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 3 in Crawfordsville Cemetery, with Larry Fletcher officiating. Visitation will begin at noon today at Jones Eden Funeral Home in Washington. A memorial has been established to the United Church of Crawfordsville.

Betty White, 75, of Shawano, Wis., died on Sunday, March 23, 2003, at a local nursing home. The funeral service was on March 28 at the United Methodist Church in Shawano, with the Rev.
