Blanche Howsare Wells, 94, of New London Nursing and Rehab Center in New London, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, Winfield, Wyman, Crawfordsville and Iowa City, died at 11:55 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, at the nursing home. The funeral service was at 10:30 a.m. today at Weir Funeral Home with the Rev. Dean D. Graber of Calvary Baptist Church in Burlington officiating. Burial will be in Crawfordsville Cemetery. A

Janet R. Bell, 81, died on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003 at Sunrise of Carmel in Carmel, Ind. The memorial service will be in Mt. Pleasant. There will be no visitation.
