Blanche Howsare Wells, 94, of New London Nursing and Rehab Center in New London, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, Winfield, Wyman, Crawfordsville and Iowa City, died at 11:55 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, at the nursing home.      The funeral service was at 10:30 a.m. today at Weir Funeral Home with the Rev. Dean D. Graber of Calvary Baptist Church in Burlington officiating. Burial will be in Crawfordsville Cemetery. A

Janet R. Bell, 81, died on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003 at Sunrise of Carmel in Carmel, Ind.      The memorial service will be in Mt. Pleasant. There will be no visitation. A memorial has been established to Butterfield Youth Services, P.O. Box 333, 1180 Highway WW, Marshall, MO 65340. Arrangements are by Randall and Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, Ind.

Louella A. Boshears, 69, of Lincoln, Ill., died at 7:01 a.m. on February 21, 2003, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.      A graveside service in Mt. Pleasant will be held at a later date. The body has been cremated. There will be no visitation. A memorial may be made to the donor's choice.

June Barnett, 88, formerly of Hillsboro, died on Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, at the Henry County Health Center following declining health.The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. David Doerr officiating. Burial will be in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and there will be no family

Kenneth H. Sutcliffe, 67, of Danville since January, formerly of Wapello, died on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, at his home.      The memorial service will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at Lunning Chapel in Burlington. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the chapel. A memorial has been established for his children's college education.

Dave Williams, 65, died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, at Gulfport Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, Miss., following complications of congestive heart failure.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 28, at St. James Catholic Church in Washington. KALONA - Esther L. Marner, 70, of Kalona, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church in Kalona, with the Rev. Don Patterson officiating. Burial will be in Lower Deer Creek Cemetery in rural Wellman. Visitation will continue through this evening at Peterseim Funeral Home

Eunice M. Knott, 93, of Washington, died Monday, Feb. 24, 2003, at Halcyon House, following a lengthy illness.      Mrs. Knott has willed her body to University of Iowa Hospitals. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Elm Grove Cemetery.

CEDAR RAPIDS - Joseph R. Winslow, 79, Washington, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003, at his home, following a lengthy illness.      Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at St. James Catholic Church in Washington, with the Rev.
