Winifred Ruth Hayes, 87, of Mt. Carmel, Calif., died Friday, Dec. 6, 2002, at Sunbridge Care and Rehab Center in San Diego, Calif., following a lengthy illness.      Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, at Indian Creek Cemetery in Columbus Junction. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington.

Ardythe Wead Goff, 66, of Des Moines, and formerly of Washington, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002, following a lengthy, courageous battle with lung cancer.      Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at New Hope Methodist Church in Des Moines. Interment will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington at a later date. Memorials may be made to New Hope Methodist Church or Central Iowa Hospice.

Sharon Kay Borton, 73, of New London, died Thursday, July 26, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born June 23, 1945 in Boise, Idaho to Glenn Richard and Kathleen Mae Shearer Sanders. On November 20, 1965, she married Thomas LeRoy Borton in Marshalltown, Iowa.
