Dr. M. Edward Maule, 79, of Las Vegas, Nev., and formerly of Keota, died Oct. 24, 2002.      Memorial services were held Oct. 29 at Griffith Methodist Church in Las Vegas, Nev. Memorials may be directed to Griffith Methodist Church or the UNLV Scholarship Fund.

Helen Rowan Bartholow, 95, Washington, and formerly of Ainsworth, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2002, at the United Presbyterian Home Health Center, following a lengthy illness      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at Beatty Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Gladys Leora Mouser, 91, of Washington, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, at Halcyon House, following a lengthy illness.      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Don Collings officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Mary Rose Fedler, 63, of Fort Madison, Iowa, passed away at 4 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018 at The Madison in Fort Madison. Margaret Phoebe Walker, 86, of New London, died at 12:32 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.      There will be no visitation or service. A memorial has been established for St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Florence Hanson, 84, formerly of Swedesburg and Muscatine, died on Monday, Oct. 28, 2002, at Woodbury (Minn.) Health Care Center.      Private family services were at Greenwood Cemetery in Muscatine on Nov. 2, with the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Memorials have been established to the Muscatine First Presbyterian Church Choir or the Swedish Heritage Museum in Swedesburg.

Ted L. Belles, 75, of Phoenix, and formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died October 18, 2002.      There are no services planned for Mr. Belles.

FAIRFIELD - Shirley A. Norris, 82, of Birmingham, died Monday, Nov. 4, 2002, at her home in Birmingham.      The body has been cremated. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham, with the Rev. Michael D. Renken officiating. Memorials may be directed to the Birmingham Lions Club or Birmingham Methodist Church.
