Margaret Phoebe Walker, 86, of New London, died at 12:32 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.      There will be no visitation or service. A memorial has been established for St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Florence Hanson, 84, formerly of Swedesburg and Muscatine, died on Monday, Oct. 28, 2002, at Woodbury (Minn.) Health Care Center.      Private family services were at Greenwood Cemetery in Muscatine on Nov. 2, with the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Memorials have been established to the Muscatine First Presbyterian Church Choir or the Swedish Heritage Museum in Swedesburg.

Ted L. Belles, 75, of Phoenix, and formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died October 18, 2002.      There are no services planned for Mr. Belles.

FAIRFIELD - Shirley A. Norris, 82, of Birmingham, died Monday, Nov. 4, 2002, at her home in Birmingham.      The body has been cremated. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham, with the Rev. Michael D. Renken officiating. Memorials may be directed to the Birmingham Lions Club or Birmingham Methodist Church.

Abigail Marie "Abby" Denning, 13, of Houghton, Iowa, passed away at 10:11 a.m. Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Cloyce M. Statler, 86, of Washington, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2002, at Halcyon House in Washington, following a lengthy illness.      Funeral services were held today at Jones-Eden Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mark Young officiating. Burial was in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.
