COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Evelyn E. Frye, 70, of Twin Falls, Idaho, and formerly of Fredonia, died Saturday, March 2, 2002, in Twin Falls, Idaho      Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, at Indian Creek Cemetery in rural Columbus Junction. There will be no visitation. The Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction is handling arrangements.

Marion Lee Ferguson, 78, of Washington, and formerly of Hartville, Ohio, died Sunday, June 9, 2002, at Halcyon House in Washington, following a lengthy illness.      Funeral services will be held at 1o:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Scott Nesbitt officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Elm Grove Cemetery at a later date. Visitation begins at 2 p.m.

COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Vicki Kay Murphy, 48 of Conesville, died Thursday, June 6, 2002, at her home in Conesville, following a lengthy illness.       Funeral services were held today at Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction. Burial was in Conesville Cemetery. A memorial has been established.

Raymond J. Roth, 90, Cedar Rapids, and formerly of Washington, died Friday, June 7, 2002, at Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Cedar Rapids, following a lengthy illness.      Funeral services were held today at Papich-Kuba Janeba Chapel West in Cedar Rapids, with the Rev. James Milford Cook of Carbondale, Colo., died May 30, 2002.      Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Farnum-Holt Funeral Home in Glenwod Springs, Colo. Memorials may be directed to the White River Forest Alliance in Carbondale, Colo.Mr. Cook is survived by one son, Christopher Cook, of Dallas, Texas.He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Milford Cook, Darlene (Krotz) Cook Lippert.

E. Frances "Fran" Boyd, 81, of Washington, died Friday, June 7, 2002, at Washington County Hospital, following a lengthy illness.      Funeral services were held today at St. James Catholic Church in Washington, with the Rev. Dennis Martin officiating. Memorials may be directed to St. James Catholic Church.

Mary Margaret Lowe, 85, of Keosauqua, died on Wednesday, June 5, 2002, at the Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 8 at the United Methodist Church of Keosauqua with the Rev. Ellis Andrews officiating. Burial of her cremains will be in Bonaparte Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church or to the Bonaparte Cemetery Association.

Agusta Louise Armitstead, 83, of Washington, died Saturday, June 8, 2002, at the United Presbyterian Home in Washingotn, following a lengthy illness.      Funeral services will be held this week in Pratt, Kan. Burial will be in Ellenwood Cemetery in Sawyer, Kan. Beatty Funeral Home in Washington is assisting with local arrangements.

KALONA - Eldon R. Miller, 86, of Kalona, died Sunday, June 9, 2002, at Pleasant View Home in Kalona, following a brief illness.      Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at Fairview Mennonite Church in Kalona, with the Rev. David L. Yoder and Phil Schrock officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in rural Kalona. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Peterseim Funeral Home

LONE TREE - Walter F. Krueger, 87, of Lone Tree died Wednesday, June 5, 2002, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a sudden illness.      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 7, at the United Presbyterian Church in Lone Tree, with the Rev. Ann Rouse officiating. Burial will be in Lone Tree Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Lone Tree.
