KEOTA - Marvel Catherine Greiner, 91, of Keota, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, at Maplewood Manor in Keota, following a brief illness.      A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Holy Trinity Parish-Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Clear Creek Township, with the Rev. Marty Goetz officiating. Burial will be in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Robert D. Smith, 87, of Olds, died on Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, resulting from a house fire at his home.      The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7, at the Asbury Cemetery northeast of Olds with the Rev. Harold Schnedler, pastor of the Olds United Church of Christ, officiating. The casket will remain closed at all times and there will be no visitation. Arrangements are by the Beatty Funeral Home.

WINTHROP - Fern Freeman, 104, of Independence, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002, at West Village Care Center in Independence, following a sudden illness.      Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 4, at Church of Christ United in Winthrop, with the Rev. Dot Hasler officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence. Fawcett's Funeral Home of Winthrop is in charge of arrangements.
