Paul Howard Lyon, 83, died on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at his home in Mt. Pleasant.According to his wishes his body has been cremated and no services will be held.The Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Emma Layman, 91, of Oberlin, Ohio, and formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2002, at Oberlin.      The graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 12 at Memory Gardens in Iowa City with the Rev. Charles U. Tweed officiating.

Virginia L. Septer, 81, of south of Lockridge, died on Sunday, April 7, 2002, at her home.      The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Irene Witte, 71, of West Point, died on Friday, April 5, 2002, at the West Point Care Center.      The funeral service was at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 8 at the King-Lynk Funeral Home in Fort Madison with the Rev. CEDAR RAPIDS - Wilda E. Steggall, 88, of Cedar Rapids, and formerly of Washington, died Wednesday, April 3, 2002, following a lengthy illness.      Funeral services were held Friday, April 5, at Teahen Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids, with the Rev.
