Betty Lou ?Betsy? Ballard, 72, of Farmington, died on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015, at the Great River Hospice House, in West Burlington.Arrangements are pending at the Barr Memorial Chapel, in Ft. Madison.

Anna M. Blunk, 56, of Kahoka, Mo., and formerly of New London, died on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015, at her home in Kahoka.Memorial services will be at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 24, at Elliott Chapel, in New London. Rev. David Mixon will officiate. Per her wishes, cremation has been accorded and inurnment will be held at a later date.A memorial has been established to the Des Moines County Humane Society.

Imogene Fike Bowersox, 92, of Mt. Pleasant, died March 1, 2001.      The funeral service was 10:30 a.m. on March 5 at the Turner Funeral Home in Lake Park. Burial was at Silver Lake Cemetery.

Helen E. Brau, 94, of Mt. Pleasant, died at 2 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at the New London Nursing and Rehab Center. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel.

Helen Elizabeth Brau, 94, of Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at New London Nursing and Rehab Center.      The funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 10 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
